It would be cool to be able to see the number of replies
to each node on the Newest Nodes page. (I was going to ask
about putting the author next to each node on that page
yesterday, but before I could Vroom had already implemented
it!)
Also, it might be a good idea to reject postings with a
blank subject or blank bodies.
And duplicate posts. Maybe a simple formula would work here:
if ($username eq "Merlyn") {
$node->delete("duplicate 1");
$node->delete("duplicate 2");
}
Just kidding of course, Randal can post as many duplicates
as he needs to, because everyone should burn his wisdom into
their brain over and over. If you don't have Effective Perl Programming
you should go get it. Now.
Posts are HTML formatted. Put <p> </p> tags around your paragraphs. Put <code> </code> tags around your code and data!
Titles consisting of a single word are discouraged, and in most cases are disallowed outright.
Read Where should I post X? if you're not absolutely sure you're posting in the right place.
Please read these before you post! —
