I think the original Helmholtz Notation for 440Hz/MIDI #69 is a′. Just a variation of this kind of notation is ač. In Scientific Pitch Notation this is A₄. "It is designated A₄ in scientific pitch notation because of the note's position as the fourth A key on a standard 88-key piano keyboard. On MIDI, it is note 69." And Jim wrote: ač,0,69,440.0000000000. Best regard, Karl «The Crux of the Biscuit is the Apostrophe» In reply to Re^5: utf8 hash keys revisited: How can i use musical symbols as hash keys?
