Oh I get it, it's "abuse" when an "Anonymous Coward" calls someone out on his repeated clownshoes, but when an established member of PM for years insults people left and right (what's his name, BrowserUS? Something like that?) it's perfectly acceptable.

You probably don't remember how Moritz will break into Perl discussions to spew a wad of perl-6 code which may or may not work in a week as if it was a solution to the asked question. But that's okay, because Moritz is part of the inner circle here too.

I think you care too much that a post has a name attached to it than the truth in the post. Same reason perl-6 is rotting from the inside out. It's an echo chamber.

As for Ralph, maybe he would get a better reception here if he showed any sign that he was interested in acting on feedback. But that is not something anyone can legitimately accuse perl-6 of doing.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
