It was more than double that a couple of months ago. Back when I acquired it virtually nobody had heard of bitcoin, so half a bitcoin was virtually nothing. Myself and some acquaintances were sending around fractions of bitcoins like 0.1 and 0.05 just to experiment with how bitcoin worked. (This was when I was writing Finance::Bitcoin.) Of course, these days it would be foolish to experiment with such large sums.
