Well, he did say it "was" his last post. Not "is" or "will be". So one could claim he already implied he will be back. It's a stretch. And feels a bit desperate. But what the hey!! ;)

Look, honest to God, I am not "JavaFan". Maybe it's wishful thinking on your part(s), or maybe you all have an overgrown tendency towards conspiracy theories, but I am not "JavaFan". I do not know a whole lot about Perl, and I doubt that I can fill the shoes he seems to have left. Just before I saw this thread I posted a new "meditation" above, maybe it has something to say about why you have these suspicions.
