tmaly has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Monks,

What would be some of the best practices to setting up a DarkPan on an internal network with no access to external CPAN with the following features:

  • Version control such as git
  • Support for different versions of perl
  • Support for different architectures 32 bit or 64 bit linux
  • Staging QA and production in different directories
  • Continuous testing integration
  • support for application scripts as well as modules

I found a few links on setting up a darkpan and handling multiple architectures but nothing about integrating it with version control or staging environments Maintaining a darkpan
local::lib and multiple architectures

Best regards,
Ty
