As far as Perl is concerned, there is no such thing as “a hash of hashes.” Except that there is. Both perl documentation and perl source code call it a hash of hashes. `$foo{bar}{bar}{bar}` isn't an arrow. Tutorials► Data Types and Variables► Data Type: Hash► references quick reference In any case, if you're not going to answer the OPs question, Meditations is that way	[reply] [d/l]
