A few weeks ago Gabor Szabo (szabgab) started the Perl Weekly newsletter, a weekly round-up of what's happening in the world of Perl. I don't believe it's been mentioned here before, so if you're interested, you can read the archive, or subscribe to the newsletter.

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

Hey the archives are great. I tried to signup but it seemed the signup buttons are broken, unless you have javascript enabled. #$%Z^! google analytics

I'm not really a human, but I play one on earth.

Even with JavaScript enabled the sign up process is still nasty! There is no feedback to suggest the button has actually done anything. I ended up with three "join up" emails: one for the first click on the top button, one for the second click when I thought I'd missed the button or something, and one for the click on the duplicate button at the bottom of the page because I thought the top button was broken. By that time the first email had arrived!

Maybe it's because the page is 'Python powered'?

      True laziness is hard work
      szabgab just tweeted:

Oh crap. The subscribe button on perlweekly.com was broken for some time. Now fixed. I hope. #perl #newsletter
Hope that fixed it for you.
