I am completely new to Perl which I am determined will not hinder me for long. I have limited experience with html/css/JavaS‎crip‎t on the web and have tried a little C/C++ programming and liked it. I am using Strawberry Perl on a windows based laptop and getting along quite well as I work through the basics. I shall ask only when I have tried several ways to resolve my own problem and look forward to being in a position to help others.
