To me it sounds like you should be using a broadcast mechanism. When any instance makes a change, it sends notification of that change to a broadcast group that all the other instances (and itself) are listening to. In that way, each instance only sends or receives to/from the broadcast group address, thereby avoiding the problems of runaway cascading notifications. Examine what is said, not who speaks -- Silence betokens consent -- Love the truth but pardon error.
