People asked me to keep a list of Perlmonks that are attending YAPC::Europe. I like that idea (as it complements the attendeeslist at the YAPC::Europe website.

Alas, despite of being an European monks, I won't be with you at YAPC::Europe. I'm very disappointed, specially after reading YAPC::America::{"$Day1"}, but I have to start my period of "civil service" (I don't know how it's called in your countries).

As a sad side effect, I think I won't have too much time to spend on Perlmonks. I hope I could continue on my projects and post something here.

Well, when you'll be in Amsterdam, drink a beer or two for me :))

I also won't come, because I haven't got the leave or the money to go to Amsterdam, and I speak no Dutch. I think you mean 'national service', larsen. The civil service is what I work for - government offices. Whereas national service is celebrating international peace and brotherhood by having to run across muddy fields in camouflage gear, right?

      Tiefling
