in reply to Blekko : the other search engine.

People were very vocal about Duck duck go, and but after a week, noone talked about Duck duck go anymore. All the time, people kept using Google.

No doubt Blekko will soon be forgotten by most of us.

On my list of points to consider whether to use an certain search engine, the language it's written in doesn't make make the top 100. It's about as relevant for the user as the colour(s) of the cat cables they're using.

    Hum... No, I'm using DuckDuck Go quite a lot. Do you know it also provides https search, among other useful features ?

    Indeed. However the technology used is of importance to us perl programmers, don't you think so? Aren't you interested in knowing what people are building using perl, and how? I didn't send a link to the Blekko main page, but to an article on its technology...

    Duck Duck Go ++

    While I do still use Google, Duck Duck is my default these days.
