Gorby has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Wise Monks, I've been using soap lite to connect to a soap server using an https url as proxy without problems for years now and suddenly today I began getting this error from soap lite: "500 SSL negotiation failed". What could this mean and how can I fix it? Thanks in advance. Gorby

Most likely, the SSL negotiation failed. Maybe the certificate expired, or it changed some information. CHeck with the system administrator of the SOAP webservice.	[reply]
