in reply to Monastery tag -- dict://word

New tags are great but a maintenence problem for XML clients, because each [tag://] in the XML stream has to be parsed and turned into a link. Perhaps a new xml ticker could be made to identify valid linktypes and the url they need to invoke.
<NODETAGS> <link type="google" url="http://www.google.com/search?q="></tag> <link type="lucky" url="http://www.google.com/search?btnI=lucky&q="></ +tag> <link type="cpan" url="http://search.cpan.org/search?mode=module&query +="></tag> <link type="isbn" url="http://www1.fatbrain.com/asp/BookInfo/BookInfo. +asp?from=MDZ411&theisbn="></tag> </NODETAGS>
