Has the age-old art of reading the documentation indeed finally been lost? From the docs of Data::Dumper: Given a list of scalars or reference variables, writes out their contents in perl syntax. The references can also be objects. The content of each variable is output in a single Perl statement. Handles self-referential structures correctly. And see also the example in the Synopsis. CountZero A program should be light and agile, its subroutines connected like a string of pearls. The spirit and intent of the program should be retained throughout.
