sman has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello everyone, Is there any way to generate the html files for my perl modules embedded with documentation in POD format? Because I want to take a look at the result before submitting upto CPAN. I sort of know there is a command to do this but can't remember how. Thanks,

    Try pod2html (see http://perldoc.perl.org/pod2html.html)

Some IDEs generate that HTML page automatically since they have a built-in option that enables them to read the POD into the default web-browser right off the pod documentation section of your code. Its quick and effective and requires you just to select that option and you'd view the POD in HTML ...

in addition, pod2html can be another choice
