It would have to be a Vermeer ( girl with a Perl earring )? (Ahem...)
Or better, graffiti?
- T is definitely MTOWTDI
- Accessible, Flexible
- hated by purists, loved by everyone else
- sometimes a quick and dirty five minute job, sometimes an elaborate thing of beauty
- Plus it has already been done : Perl Monk!!
Just a something something...

Cubism - just enough of the picture to give you a hint of what they're on about, but obscure enough to hide safely. | [reply] |

trompe l'oeil
barring this, I would have to say realistic, but either:
- done on black velvet
- with a group of dogs playing poker
- accompanied with the letters 'RTFM' presented subtly in the background

Pointillism. Deceptively simple, but there's a lot going on that you don't notice at first.

Griffin is the name of the character in H. G. Wells' novel The Invisible Man who discovers the means of making people invisible.
Ralph Ellison wrote a novel called Invisible Man, but the subject matter is entirely different.
The point being, I suppose, that Anonymous Monk is an Invisible Man.
Between the mind which plans and the hands which build, there must be a mediator... and this mediator must be the heart.

..when I think about it, anonymity seems very surreal. If I as a monk, emulated an anonymous sub, would I suddenly spring into existence...only to be garbage collected later? ..hmmm..now how would Dali have portrayed such an event...?
- ...the majority is always wrong, and always the last to know about it...

Given some code I saw yesterday, how about "just slosh it all over, let the compiler figure it out!"
Honestly, there are times when I view code (regardless of language) and wonder just how the person who wrote it manages to brush their own teeth without winding up in the hospital.
Okay, done with kvetching.
