Unfortunately, you've got yourself an Interwoven question, not a Perl question. I used to have to work on Interwoven stuff and the template stuff is really tempermental. I don't have the knowledge left in my brain to help you, but IIRC there are some pretty good IW support forums. Maybe Fish is still around there answering questions.

    I was wondering what that was. The error message seems straight forward, missing <path>
    In 'docroot' mode, -iw_include-location <path> must be used
