Don't we know better as developers to not store raw passwords in databases?
I have been told many time that The "everything" web portal is the most secure, event though this current hack was from root and the web portal would have no security to combat against that. Except for encrypting the raw passwords in that database so they cant be read.
I remember back this has happened before and still there has not been a change to secure the passwords.
Why hasn't that been done?
