When I used the above piece of code, my system was hung for a while and the execution of the script was killed automatically.

copy method seems to have bug .. PDF::API2 is abandon, switch to PDF::API3	[reply]

I used PDF::API3 also. But the same result. I had to restart my system.	[reply]

Its probably a bug in copy, you should report it (or try to fix it -- too hard for me)	[reply]
