Is this a filtering problem?
You want to see more code but you're getting distracted by all the non-code posts? Maybe attaching keywords to nodes, and having an option to filter by keywords would help? I mean the sections make a good breakdown (cf craft) but keywords would make it easier to search newest nodes etc. I don't know how much work this would involve, however, or how many times it has been proposed already :-)
