Template-Toolkit. The pieces depend on each other, but they all have good encapsulation.

    I'm sorry to say that I've never used Template Toolkit: I am still pretty new. (err.. should I be using it?)

    Could you clarify? That'd be much appreciated.
      If you need a templating tool for generating HTML or any text, it's a very good one. If not, there's no need to use it. But you asked for an example, and this is what sprang to mind.
