in thread I want my Perl humor...

Hmm, the update line made me think of whether the NodeReaper could play Nicholas Cage's role from "Gone in 60 Seconds" (I think it did, actually, on one particularly heavy troll-day).

Getting Serious about Humour : Humour, here as elsewhere, is where you find it. A lot of it is situational. Like the very node to which this is a response. Why should anybody feel constrained to humorize in a specific location? "Sorry sir, this is a 'no-joke' zone" might be the impression if there were an explicit humour section.

Think of it as finding the raisins in the pudding (how English to think *that's* luxury, hm?)

Humor is where you find it, but I was thinking of something silly a little bit ago, and really couldn't see a place to put it... I don't wwant to annoy people by posting something plain silly in the nodes that focus on help, and the others just don't seem to fit... we have obfuscation, and poetry, but no place to just plunk down any old thing in our head that seems funny... CB is closest thing... but you really need to keep up to date with that.

Meditations is probably the closest section to what you are looking for - it's a kind of "catch all" place already, and humor there would not be inappropriate, IMO (as long as it was Perl related of course!)

Really... it doesn't seem that way to me, really... maybe
