In addition to known programming languages I would promote process skills (eg. Agile methods), tools you know (like SCM tools), motivation, previous art you've done, enthusiasm and willingness to learn new things. The fact that you know how to program makes it easier to shift to another languages. Syntax is easy to learn. Printing your job application and resume on a perfumed pink paper is not a bad thing either ;-)
