Don't forget to mention that it was selected as the AES standard for a replacement to DES. If it fits whatever problem space you are working on, you can use it and then compliment yourself in your advertising of using a standard that is likely to be officially approved by the US for a decade or 3...

In other words if you just need encryption and have no particular reason to choose one over another, then Rijnael should be your choice.
