Where can I post/e-mail/publicly gush over perlmonks?
I love this place! This site is VERY conducive to learning perl. It has a real....at your own pace feel to it. I just want to give my thanks to Vroom and anyone else (also anyone who adds content!) involved/maintaining perlmonks. I couldn't digest programming until I was saved by perl! I have a shelf's worth of books for other languages. I only have three perl books! 1 thing I love about perl: Not only are there so many ways to do what you want but it seems that seeing the way someone else does something can immediately trigger your own style of doing something. I don't know if I'm making sense. It's like having your own (American)English accent depending on what part of the country, what state, what city, what area you live in. It's very fluid and personal that way. www.perlmonks.com is a lot like perl in that way. Anyway I babble. If you are new and reading this, you've come to the right place.
