Me too. In fact, I normally visit Newest Nodes with my Newest Nodes Settings adjusted so that my "'last checked' time is not set. Newest Nodes will show you nodes created during the preceding 24 hours." This way, I get a pull-down menu at the top of the Newest Nodes page where I can set how many days back I want to see (but I usually just go with the default 1-day setting).

Of course, the Recent Threads page is far superior, and I really should be using that more.

In any case, I agree it might be cool to be able to get something like the Newest Nodes style listing for any given date or (brief) date range. Not even Super Search seems to support that sort of access. But then again, I don't expect that this sort of search would really be needed very often.
