Your favorite Perl magazine, suggestions?

matze77 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello Monks!
I wonder if you could suggest any Perl magazine (online) or in printed form (i prefer the latter).

btw: For Unix/Linux i read sysadmin magazine which is no more, so if you know of something similar for Perl ...
If I could get it in Germany too, would be fine.
A search showed some posts but they where a few years back, so maybe this changed meanwhile

Thanks in Advance

reneeb is publishing the $foo magazin (available as PDF and/or print version), the German Perl publication. brian_d_foy publishes The Perl Review (available as PDF and/or print version). I'm not aware of any other journals.

I definitely recommend The Perl Review. The articles are good quality and the tone of the magazine is helpful and amusing (where possible).

I third (or whatever it is at this point) The Perl Review. If the content is over my head, the magazine yanks me by the hair and pulls me up, or tries its best.

My relationship to it is similar to the relationship I had to the 1970s Scientific American when I was 12 years old.

Somewhat related: ORA published some reprints from the now (unfortunately) defunct Perl Journal. There's three volumes you can find searching at oreilly.com.

It's no good, they're asking exactly the same question in that magazine, and the answers are no more helpful.
