in reply to PerlMonks statistics

Regarding the number of monks that come here every day, I have a stats page that gathers information about users visiting the site. It currently only displays the number of unique monks that it saw during the last 7 day window (right now that value is 1238). Update: I have just modified it to also report the number of unique users seen per day, averaged from the 7 days of data.

It does not store its data beyond 7 days, so I cannot give any long-term trends about # of users visiting the site. Also, cloaked users and anonymonks are not accounted for, obviously.

I just need a rough estimate. The median for the last seven days is more than enough.

    Thank you very much!
