An original mnemonic for (s)printf conversions

Greetings, all. Recently my annoyance at my inability to recall certain bits of Perl resulted in this:

--cut here--

A balance weighed
An offset made
A nation's pride
At least this wide
A pedant's joy
An hungry boy
A sorted set
Some output, yet?

--cut here--

Exposition:

The Search For Prior Art (TM) revealed two nodes: quest for perl mnemonics and Mnemonic Devices for Perl Programming. However, both of those are about 7 years old.

Are there any monks who have mnemonics of their own? (Surely in 7 years...) I'd be very happy to discover new mnemonics, or even anything to reduce the amount I have to consult the docs :)

Cheers,

email: perl -e 'print reverse map { chr( ord($_)-1 ) } split //, "\x0bufo/hojsfufqAofc";'
