GUI module for Windows/Linux

spx2 has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

I would like to write a GUI for an application I have already written,
I have worked with Tk and very little with ncurses.
With Tk I'd had some serious problems...
So I'm thinking about using ncurses as it is more simplistic.
I'm planning on running the application on Windows.
What would you recommend ?

Tk will be the easiest, since it comes with ActiveState Perl. Gtk2 is still hard to install on windows. It would probably be easier to use Tk, and ask for help to solve whatever problems you have with it.

I'm not really a human, but I play one on earth. Cogito ergo sum a bum

There is also wxWindows, and the wxPerl wrapper. I haven't written a full app using it, just played with a few simple test cases, but it looks like it is very full featured, and has great cross platform support.
