Hello monks,

I need to convert a Word document into the pod format.
What is the simple and the quick way to do it?

Many thanks

That's not so easy, because word uses visual markup and POD uses semantic markup.

I know of no direct converter, but perhaps you can use a word-to-html converter and then try to convert html to POD, or got the word->plain text->POD route.

But I guess both ways are painful :(

Word should be able to save documents in RTF format, and it might be a little bit cleaner than MS's brand of HTML. RTF::Parser might be able to give you a few more ideas.
