There is XS binding for OpenCV on CPAN under name Image::ObjectDetect. I didn't tried it myself, but would appreciate other experiences about it.

Yes, i found that one a bit later, too - but the documentation is a bit sparse, and i couldn't find any information on this on the OpenCV site. Did you get it to work?	[reply]

open cv can detect faces but i think its far from face recognition	[reply]
