in thread How do I train myself to write more Perl-ish Perl, rather than C-ish Perl?

Wow, first Kevin_Raymer makes an (admittedly somewhat comical) comeback, then Win starts trolling like never before and now here we have good old Cop ending a two-month hiatus and back with his usual drivel. What's next, the return of Wassercrats?

Hmm, now how to get them to argue amongst themselves until the sun goes up...

All dogma is stupid.

Well according to the "Deck the Hall" carol its appropriate!

Deck tha hall with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
'Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Don we now our gay apparel,
Fa la la la la la la,
    Troll the ancient Yuletide carol,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

...which hopefully makes it a little more likely that people won't feed the trolls.

90% of every Perl application is already written.

I personally believe that downvoting what that deserves being downvoted and thus contributing to shaping the slope of Perlmonkscape does not count as trollfeeding. Perhaps the fact that one may risk losing some points by expressing his discomfort with a downvote could even increase the desire for some to do so with a full reply, thus making a little more likely that people will feed the trolls. Whatever...
