In lieu of buying Perl a beer and waiting around for a year, I'm looking for interesting stories and memories to collect and post on a Perl-related website with a very nice and short domain name in the next couple of days.

Please send them to chromatic@oreilly.com, along with a one sentence biography.

And a shout out from Toronto, where a baker's dozen of the local Perlmongers met at the Bow & Arrow tonight and shared lovely beverages, some supper and a birthday cake in Perl's honour. We even sang Happy Birthday!

Then the waitress wanted to know whose birthday it was. Well .. "It's complicated." (And thanks to Richard Dice for organizing the beautiful cake!)

wow! 20 years? and it's still kicking the competitions arses.

      Competition? Perl has competition? :-)

90% of every Perl application is already written.
