Yeah its funny how they brought it back down to reality, as modern society advanced. The first thought that pops into my "green mind" when I think of Star Trek now, is how eventually they learned "that warp drive was polluting sub-space" and to throttle back from warp 7. :-)

Can you IMAGINE the uproar if it became known that migraines are caused by UFO's running their engines improperly. :-)

its funny how they brought it back down to reality, as modern society advanced. I carry a Palm Pilot (in some ways more powerful than the PDP-10 I worked on in 1972), and a Razor Cellphone. A Tricorder and a Communicator. I live in my own future. Where's my phaser and flying car?	[reply]
