it is with great hesitation I submit this as a poll idea:

when I discuss scripting with family/friends, they:

  • turn and talk to somebody else
  • get nervous and hide the laptop
  • become intrigued
  • fall asleep
  • ask how to get a job
  • ask if I can automate their job
  • run away screaming
  • change the subject
  • call me a geek
