proposal: implement /em to emote in the chatterbox

I was very surprised to find out just now that /em does not "emote" (like /me does) in the chatterbox as it does in various other chat programs/sites I know and use.

I would be grateful if the gods/whoever takes care of the chatterbox code could alias /em to /me.

    Which various other chat programs/sites?
        /em now works like /me.
Dark Ages of Camelot used /em. I prefer /me (since you can actually read what you're typing and you'll get the right person for your verbs), but I recognize that some might be used to /em.

Yeah, I don't see a problem with implementing it. I've seen enough different people type "/em" to realize that it must be a somewhat common meme in other circles.

        I must be getting old.
I always thought 'em was was a colloquialism of them.
