... I'm always in the band.

I learned a long time ago that I prefer being on the band side of the floor, reading down Big Band/Jazz standards (any of 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th trumpet books.)

Gals dig the guys in the band, in fact, that's how I met my wife!

    Ditto. Even bassplayers get their small share! And dancing, that's for people who weren't lucky enough to be on stage that night.
