Fellow Monks,

John Lapeyre is hosting a revised version of the book “PDL – Scientific Programming in Perl”. In John's web site, you can find an HTML version of the book, a gzipped HTML version of the book (1.6 MB), and the source files (8 MB).

Cheers,

lin0

Thanks for the tips. But CVS gives me the same error, and all BADVAL lines are left as the default =>0. Oh well, probably some oddball error in my system.

Well ... at least the bug has now been reported, so someone might be able to fix it.

It's conceivable that it's a MakeMaker bug, so you might find success by upgrading/downgrading your ExtUtils::MakeMaker installation. (No guarantees, of course :-)

      Cheers,
      Rob
syphilis , you are an insightful genius, I upgraded ExtUtils::MakeMaker to the latest 6.31 ( from 6.2.1) and it's working. Thanks again.
