Spam making appearance on the Monastery

I've just seen a couple of considered messages, ~~obviously spam (Re: wastefu VrAGRA from $3). Then I've looked for "viagra", "cialis" and found both : they are obviously fake accounts made by some bot (both at the same time today).~~
Spam tide is on the high in our mails, I feel concerned it may submerge the Monastery really soon now... What can we do? Are we about to see the horrible and painful death of this good old Anonymous Monk?

update OK, ok, I haven't read the messages carefully enough it seems... :) I've just seen them in the Nodes To Consider list. That doesn't mean that the Monastery is immune to spam forever. I feel concerned because I've seen technical wikis or BB rife with SPAM...

If you look at the parent of the node you linked to, I think it's pretty obvious that it was a joke. Especially since it didn't actually have any links (example.com doesn't exist, intentionally).	[reply]

both at the same time today Eh? Today is December 6; those two accounts were made on May 17. I notice that at about the same time, the third drug (levitra) made its appearance as well. And the three were made almost exactly 1/2 hour apart. What does it mean? Nothing. However, if you're looking for a conspiracy, note that almost exactly 11.5 days earlier, I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a bunny with a pancake on its head. Oh, I didn't post the fake spam (just the fake admission that has my name attached). But it reminded me of an old answering machine ("ansaphone" for you Brits?) greeting I'd heard: "This is an IQ test... beep" - tye	[reply]

Did you read Re: wastefu VrAGRA from $3's parent, where tye says he posts anonymously when he posts his ViAnGaRa spams? That particular post is someone's idea of a joke, not "obviously spam". Update: Oops, I started writting this 20 minutes ago, but I got sidetracked. Apparently, other people are faster than I am :)	[reply]
