poem written while up late/early

This is my first attempt at perl poetry (unless I wrote some zoned out at university- quite possible). It does run, with the output probably rather obvious. Thought I would share...

$early_morning_perl_poem; my $room = "empty"; my $fridge = "full"; my $mind = "plenty"; local $minds = "dull"; if (my $face =~ my $mask) { print "your lips on my hand"; } else { chop(my $heart, our $task, $and); chop(my $plans); }

Update: Formatting.

Cheers,
