BTW, I've subscribed to PEP maillist and mail there my question, but looks like it dead.That would probably be because the PEP people read Perlmonks and are either a) replying to you here, or b) not wanting to get involved in an unproductive flamewar with you when it's clear you just want to rant. I sadly fall into the category of a), but am now retreating to b).
