Actually, the rpm for Crypt::SSLeay comes with RedHat 9, so you won't need to build it yourself at all... http://download.fedoralegacy.org/redhat/9/os/i386/perl-Crypt-SSLeay-0.45-7.i386.rpm It may not be the latest and greatest, but that's probably not your main concern considering you're running RedHat 9... ;-)
