Adam Kennedy announced major changes to the Catalyst Project today, including the departure of Sebastian Reidel after differences with the rest of the development team.

Adam, who's not part of the project, successfully mediated a transition of power and resources by effectively taking over the project and locking out all changes until the mediation ended. He also imposed strict guidelines against taking the dispute public, and part of the final agreement involves guidelines against the major players talking about what happened for quite a long time.

Adam's announcement also dealt with the impact of the changes on Catalyst users and the future development of the project, although you'll have to wait for the 24 hour lock-out of the mailing list to discuss it there.

Just a quick one to mention that Sebastian left by his own choosing and was not forced to leave.

I wish him all the best and look forward to seeing Woodstock, his new MVC framework.

    Thanks,
    Gavin.
