Any portability concerns with PAR and pp on Win32?

larryl has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hi all -

Just had the opportunity to try out the PAR 'pp' utility, seems to work great (kudos to Autrijus et al). The resulting exe (using cygwin and perl 5.8.7) works fine on my two WinXP Pro boxes, but I have some worries (maybe not founded) in the back of my head about portability to other Win32 systems... Just wondering if anyone with any experience using pp on Win32 could commment on portability of the resulting exe?

Thanks,
Larry

I have used this a few time to create a ls | grep like tool and have not seen problems on any of the Win32 systems that I have used it one.
