Hmm, I see several [http://rt.cpan.org/Public/Dist/Display.html?Name=JavaScript-SpiderMonkey|bug reports], indicating others have been able to compile it.
Have you tried reading the [http://search.cpan.org/dist/JavaScript-SpiderMonkey/INSTALL|JavaScript-SpiderMonkey/INSTALL] file? It helped me :)
