It's kind of a cute idea, but frankly I don't think I'd bother. I took a great deal away from listening to Elian and chromatic talk at YAPC::NA last year—but I also took a great deal from having breakfast with chip and dinner with Erudil and the andreycheks, and talking over the closing keynote with Util, and those parts wouldn't translate very well to a strictly distributed format. If God had meant us to fly, he would *never* have given us the railroads. --Michael Flanders
