I'm surprised at the responses.

Curling is the ultimate sport, apparently. First you slide a bunch of rocks around (OK, no big deal yet). Then you retreat to the bar to talk about your match, drink beer, and watch other idiots slide their rocks around. (Oh, I think there's scoring involved somehow. For the rocks, not the brew.)

Well, yes... curing does seem to be the ultimate... as opposed to kicking or throwing some round object around, possibly running into one another and gettin injured, then retreating to the bar to talk about it. Or two guys punching each other until one of them falls down or dies, and then you retreat to the bar to talk about it.

I feel this is inefficient. Just start at the bar, and forget all about the bunch of rocks, the round objects, the punching, etc. And yes, score the brew...
