Haiku: A Returning Monk

The Monk is a Saint
Seasons travel far and wide
What is a Curate?

Limerick: A Returning Monk

There once was a Monk named M - I - T - D.
with his Sainthood in hand, to other code he did flee.
He returned to the org, somewhat a borg,
and only a Curate be he.

mitd-Made in the Dark
I've always been astonished by the absurd turns
rivers have to make to flow under every bridge.

Nice ones! In the end we are all just Monks seeking for enlightenment with the holy tunes of Perl. I reckon the levels are a sweet seduction of our egos and rather a trial along the way... Your Sainthood was not reduced :)
